The Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism office was pleased to celebrate a ribbon cutting on Friday, July 15, 2016 located at The Club at 5201 Hardys Road in Gainesville, NY. The event was attended by owner Brenda Smith, friends and supporters.
“Congratulations to The Club and Brenda Smith on hosting the ribbon cutting and opening her studio space to new clients in search of wellness and fitness,” said Wyoming County Chamber President Scott Gardner. “The Club is a great location for those seeking a tranquil space to learn and participate in a supportive environment.”
After seeing the need for a dedicated space to share her passion for wellness, Brenda Smith originally opened the doors of her private studio to a small group who fondly referred to it as "The Club.” Today, under Brenda's guidance, members support and encourage each other to become the best possible version of themselves. She welcomes everyone regardless of fitness level or experience, they can all participate and benefit from exercise.
“Even if someone is unsure of what to try, I would encourage them to visit and try a class,” said owner of The Club, Brenda Smith. “Yoga and the classes offered are designed to help reduce stress, calm the body, mind, and spirit while strengthening and toning overall. My goal is to help people find their best self on whatever journey they may be on.”
Brenda Smith has enjoyed a lifetime love of fitness and wellness. Today, she is a certified Beachbody PiYo® Instructor, Certified Wellness Coach, Certified in Meditation, and has studied both Yoga and Pilates.
The Club offers a variety of classes for every level and style including Beginner Yoga; Yoga & Meditation; Pilates; Flow/Dance Yoga; Weights & Bands; Core & More; Stretch, Strength, and Restore; and “Just do it.” Yoga is a practice that combines stretching, controlled breathing, and relaxation. Classes are designed to shed light on interpreting and incorporating the nature of yoga with all other aspects of your life.
