The Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism office was pleased to celebrate a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, at the Lodge at Hidden Valley with owners, staff, friends and officials. The Lodge at Hidden Valley restaurant has re-opened its doors for ala cart dining with an all new look and menu perfect for casual dining. The restaurant is open seasonally for dining Thursdays-Saturdays, 5pm-10pm, now through April 30, 2016.
“We are very pleased to join with Barb Dominesey and family and friends as they cut the ribbon on the newly re-opened restaurant,” said Scott Gardner, Wyoming County Chamber President. “Hidden Valley is an asset to Wyoming County and a true tourism destination. The feel of the restaurant and the new menu items will warmly welcome both local customers and tourists alike. Congratulations on all the work that has been put forward, we wish Hidden Valley much success.”
The makeover includes authentic Amish-made tables for the dining room adding to the rustic feel of the timber-frame lodge. Multiple TV screens have been added so guests can catch their favorite game, news or event. For those planning holiday celebrations, The Lodge is currently decked out in all its holiday splendor, including a 16 foot Christmas tree, through January 10, 2016.
The seasonally inspired menu includes game meat signature dishes, Thursday night home-style features, Friday fish fry, and a full menu of traditional selections and daily features. When trails are open, The Lodge at Hidden Valley will welcome snowmobilers on weekends with extended hours (Saturdays 11am-10pm and Sundays 11am-6pm).
“Re-opening The Lodge to dining with its larger kitchen and seating capacity allows us to offer a wider selection of menu items to a broader segment of our market,” says General Manager Barbara Dominesey. “There is something for everyone on this new menu.”
The Lodge, with its larger dance floor, will also host Hidden Valley’s Saturday Band Night series which runs select Saturday nights from January-April. In previous years, band nights were held in Hidden Valley’s lower level restaurant, The Trailside Grill & Bar, which is closed for the winter. This season’s band schedule, menu (serving our lighter fare until 11pm on band night), and daily features can be found on their website: hiddenvalleyadeventure.com.
